je suis titulaire d'un BE expression gymnique et disciplines associées, j'enseigne le fitness depuis... disons environ 20 ans.. je suis interessée par la méthode pilates, mon employeur peut me payer la formation. Mais sur internet c'est un peu fouilli et je ne sais que choisir... je cherche une formation sur Paris ou Montpellier ou Marseille, une formation qui me permettrait bien évidemment d'enseigner le pilates. Eva windskill si tu me lis, aide moi à trouver une bonne formation (Lyon pour moi c'est pas possible, désolée..) Merci à vous tous !

I have never had yoga lesson and my last material art lesson was way back when I was in elementary school, so I cant really comment on that either.

I take classes in both Ballet and Pilates. I like them both. Like what people said in the other thread, the pilates techniques dont neccessarily help you in dancing, but the body awareness you learn from practicing pilates does. I take pilates classe in reformer since I like the reformer a lot better than mat. I found that the reformer does help to build caf muscles and it also teaches you "how" to use your abs. Both of which have been beneficial to me when I dance. If you really decide to do pilates, make sure you find the right teacher. There are way too many of them out there, and I am sad to say that a lot of them are not qualified.....
Also, I have found ballet really helpful in latin dancing, too

Surtout ne pas aller au studio de Aix en Provence! C'est pas une formation, c'est le bagne: la directrice est une esclavagiste, une tortionnaire. elle se fou que vous réussissiez la formation. elle veut juste votre pognon.
